Am I good enough?
Sometimes I receive an order that I initially doubt whether I will be able to complete to the customer's satisfaction.
In fact, I initially had a queasy feeling about this watercolor painting of Tonga. Normally I'm the kind of person who feels very comfortable in my comfort zone and I always recommend listening to your own gut feeling, but in this case I knew what made me nervous: white horse on a white background and the whole thing in watercolor! I practiced exactly this once in 2020 and it worked wonderfully, so why should anything have changed?
I swallowed the doubts and simply captured them. Seriously, what's the worst that can happen? It does not work. Then I can always try it a second time or just discuss the whole thing with the customer. There is always a solution.
In this case, fortunately, that wasn't necessary and I'm even happy about the result. 🥰
