Between colored pencils, SEO optimization and nervous breakdowns

It's been a long time since the last blog post. I really intended to take care of it here on a regular basis.
It's always a new year, new luck and I have a lot planned for 2024, why not write blog posts again?

Where is the best place to start? On the new website? You should already know them if you found this post.
I really liked my website, but there were always a few points that could still be optimized and we tackled that in January. What can I say? I'm excited!!!

Unfortunately, the new website didn't bring any new visitors. Due to the collapse in social media reach, there is also a lack of access.
I have no idea what made me do this today, but I had to take care of a few technical things anyway, and I realized that I wasn't logged into Google Analytics at all, which is why I noticed how poorly the website actually ranks in Google searches , which in turn made me realize that there was no meta description included at all...

That means I spent the whole day dealing with things I barely knew anything about. I would love to say how much I learned, but to be honest I still don't know what exactly happened. :D

But the fact is. The number of visitors to the website increased within the first 10 minutes. At first I thought it was just a coincidence, but within a few hours I've had more clicks than I've had in a very long time. That speaks for itself.

But because my brain isn't burning enough yet, I'm now delving into the depths of Pinterest. I have no idea why a platform that is basically a search engine for image elements has been so unimportant for me as an artist, but I am determined to change that.

You incredibly underestimate how much self-employment brings with it. It's more than just painting a few pictures. :D
