Small formats. 

Do you like working on small drawings? I really like getting lost in the fine details in large drawings, but with this small picture by Varus I noticed that working in small formats also has its appeal. 😊

You have to concentrate on the essentials in order to depict the animal with its entire being. I think that's why I like time travel portraits so much. I have a little bit of everything. Large and detailed, as well as small and compact. 😄
